Love the pair or hate them, you have to admit there was just something quite special about the Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler. Maybe it's because it was many people's first introduction to NuWho, or even to Doctor Who in general, and that creates a sweet nostalgia for them. Maybe you're a sucker for unrequited love or relationships that have absolutely no chance If you fall into that second category, I have some really bad news for you about Rose and the Tenth Doctor but as River Song always says... "Spoilers".

It has been twenty years since the characters played by Piper and Eccleston have made hearts soar and plummet. Ironically, it seems as if no time at all has passed for those who are still miffed at Rose's treatment of Mickey and her long-suffering but super cool mother Jackie. No matter how you feel about the three-month run these two shared, or how ancient and dusty it makes you feel to realize it has been twenty years, it really is nice to see them back together. Or rather hear them back together.

From the big brains behind Big Finish Productions comes a new series, and it sounds - no pun intended - like it's going to be a wild and bumpy ride. For all you Who-a-holics, there are twelve episodes and they are one hour long each!
BFP is the company behind a lot of your favorite audio dramas and their audiobook selection? Forget about it! The list is so expansive that The Expanse had to change its name. There is literally something there for every fan of science fiction, drama, history, mystery, horror, thriller, and more, and all at affordable prices and ease of download. This adds to the excitement of new adventures of Rose and the Ninth Doctor for me, because I know the quality and talent that goes into one of their productions.
"I am so happy to be back recording more adventures for the Ninth Doctor with Billie. I don't think my Doctor exists without Rose. He's a 'one man, one companion' kind of alien."Christopher Eccleston
It may feel bittersweet to hear about these new adventures because the Doctor that Rose knew is long gone. Heck, he's long gone for us too, but we sleep the sleep of the exceedingly satisfied because, between the new season of Ncuti Gatwa's run coming in April and these new audio tales in August, we are one spoiled fandom.
