Earlier this week, BBC America has announced this year’s Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con in San Diego. A panel that will include the new Doctor herself, Jodie Whittaker!

For the past year, we’ve been eagerly awaiting new details for Series Eleven of Doctor Who. While we’ve yet to see a trailer for the series, we do have some exciting news. Particularly for those attending Comic-Con in San Diego next month.

This week, it was recently announced that a panel featuring some of the key cast and crew will be attending Comic-Con International: San Diego. This panel will include the Thirteenth Doctor herself, Jodie Whittaker!

Joining her will be her companions Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill, who’ll be playing Ryan and Yasmin in the new season.

More from Winter is Coming

Outside of the cast, new showrunner Chris Chibnall will also be joining them, as well as executive producer Matt Strevens.

What can we expect?

Currently, we have very few details on what to expect from next month’s panel. Certainly, we’re sure to learn some further details on what we can look forward to with Series Eleven.

Could a trailer even be revealed at the panel? That is, if the very popular rumors of a June 18th date aren’t true? Or even if they are, then a more extensive look at what’s to come?

Regardless, this is an exciting opportunity for fans to learn a lot more about a brand new era of the show. I expect demand for this panel will be incredibly high. Particularly as it will be the cast’s first-ever panel appearance ahead of the new season’s broadcast.

Expect more details as they’re revealed, both for the panel and for the season itself, right here as they’re announced!
