Matt Smith and Claire Foy attended the 75th Annual Golden Globes on Sunday. If you missed them, don’t worry! We have the pictures!

Following the release of the second season of The Crown on Netflix last month, Claire Foy and Matt Smith attended the Golden Globes this past weekend. The Crown was up for two awards at the Golden Globes for Best Television Drama and Best Performance by an Actress. Even though Matt Smith wasn’t up for any awards, he attended the award show aside Claire Foy.

As a Doctor Who fan, it’s nice to see Matt Smith’s hair grown back completely (I’m still in shock from his shaved head in his last episode). It’s also interesting to see him with such dark hair! If you’ve watched the Crown, you’d see that Prince Phillip has light brown hair, and never in Matt’s signature quiff.

Also, it’s important to note that his eyebrows are still MIA. And he’s wearing a bowtie!

After the Golden Globes, Matt Smith was seen at afterparties with girlfriend Lily James.

Season two was Matt Smith’s last season of The Crown before being taken over by an older actor. Olivia Coleman has been announced as Claire Foy’s replacement, and Helena Bonham Carter has been announced to play Princess Margaret. All we know about Matt Smith’s replacement is that he [Matt] called his could-be replacement much more handsome than anyone he could hope to be morphed into.

I can’t be the only one who has a tiny bit of hope that it could be David Tennant right? Not just for the fact it would be great to see Tennant in a different role, but it would be a great inside joke for Whovians who watch the show. In reality, the actors have all regenerated! And David Tennant is no stranger to Netflix!
