Doctor Who Rumor: What did Peter Capaldi say about Christmas Special?

With speculating surrounding the Christmas special, Peter Capaldi may have accidentally let slip something big.
Since before most rumors about the Christmas Special, fans wanted to know if companion, Jenna Coleman, would return. There had been rumors about the use of the restaurant that is now Clara Oswald’s TARDIS being cordoned off for filming since April, and the dates coincided nicely with filming the Christmas special.
However, despite rumors, it was never clear whether Jenna Coleman would actually be returning. It was confirmed she was asked, but the answer was never reported. We know that Pearl Mackie is at least among the 12th Doctor’s friends to be in the Twice Upon a Time, but that’s all we know.

Until this past weekend at the San Francisco Comic Con where Peter Capaldi let a little bit more slip than he intended, we think.
According to We Got This Covered,
"Speaking at San Francisco Comic-Con over the weekend, the outgoing Doctor Who star was asked if we’d ever see Clara again, and simply said, “I think you may.” Perhaps worrying that he might have let something slip that he wasn’t supposed to though, he then added:“I’ll see her again. You may see her again too. But I won’t tell. It’d spoil things. You may see her. She’s still there. Everyone in Doctor Who is still there.”Oops?It definitely seems like that answer got away from him as he tried to backtrack. But what is the BBC going to do, fire him?It also wouldn’t be the biggest surprise to see Clara Oswald in the regeneration episode. Being the longest serving companion of the New Series, she made quite the impact on the Twelfth Doctor’s arc. In fact, I would go as far as to say if she didn’t show up in some way, it might be a letdown.It’s traditional for the first companion the regenerated Doctor saw to return for his ending. As wonderful as it would be to see anyone from Capaldi’s three seasons, a cameo or goodbye from Clara has become expected from the audience.
