Doctor Who Comic Day is Coming thanks to Titan Comics

Titan Comics is giving us Whovians what we’ve always dreamed of. An entire day dedicated to the comics of Doctor Who! And we only have to wait all summer.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Titan Comics announced another exciting day for Doctor Who fans! Saturday, September 2 we will have the Doctor Who Comic Day and really, is this to make up to us that we had to wait a year for new episodes?

Whatever this event ends up being, we’re just excited about these comics. Fans have not had the easiest time finding them in the states. But now that Doctor Who is extremely popular here, everyone can enjoy these wonderful comics!

"The global event will focus not just on the Doctor Who comics — which currently see four different series, each following the adventures of one of the Doctor’s recent regenerations — but also on different (and often exclusive) variant covers, signings, and new merchandise.This year’s big comic event will focus on a story that crosses over that sees each of the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctors join forces in an Alpha issue, which will be drawn by Rachael Stott (Twelfth Doctor)."

As we get closer to the event, we’ll have more information but still, this is pretty awesome! It’ll be nice to just have something else for Doctor Who fans to enjoy! When it comes to this show, the community surrounding it is part of what makes it so special.

Without the fans, it would just be another sci-fi show. But fans are what make Doctor Who so special and this event is definitely for us!
